Notifications

The bell in the header keeps you informed about things that may be important to you.

For example:

• one of your suggestions has been reviewed or approved
• one of your photos has been marked as helpful - for popular photos, Camperwolf only notifies you at certain milestones rather than after every vote
• you unlocked an achievement, reached a new badge tier, or received a special award
• one of your changes or other contributions has been moderated
• important Camperwolf information, such as planned maintenance, new features, or community activities

New notifications appear at the bell. You can also open the notifications page to look back at older messages.

How long are notifications kept?

Notifications are not stored indefinitely.

Read notifications are normally removed after 30 days.

Unread notifications may be kept for longer. If you have been inactive for a while, very old unread notifications may be removed after 180 days.

Important system messages may remain available for longer.
