Der Campingplatz Opal-See liegt inmitten des kleinen Heidedorfes Hützel im Landkreis Heidekreis. Auf zehn Hektar finden sich 125 Mobilheim-, Dauercamping- und Touristenplätze umrandet vom namensgebenden Opal-See und durchflossen vom kleinen Flüsschen Luhe. Der Platz teilt sich auf in: in den Mobilheimpark hinter der Luhe in den Campingplatz vor der LuheDer Mobilheimpark umfasst 63 Dauerstellplätze mit einer Größe ab 200 m². Die Stellplätze sind mit Wasser-, Kanal- und Stromanschluss vollerschlossen. Der Campingplatz umfasst 62 Dauercamping- und Touristenplätze ab 100 m². Die Stellplätze verfügen über einen Stromanschluss. Ein Wasseranschluss steht an dezentralen Wasserentnahme-stellen bereit. Für Campinggäste steht ein zentrales Sanitärhaus zur Verfügung sowie eine Waschküche mit Waschmaschinen, Trockner und Bügelmöglichkeit. Mittagsruhe ist 13:00 bis 15:00 Uhr und Nachtruhe von 22:00 bis 07:00 Uhr.
