Badges & achievements
Awards and special achievements for your contributions to the Camperwolf community.
By contributing to Camperwolf, you can unlock badges and achievements.
They are small awards for different kinds of community contributions - such as adding new places, useful information, reviews, photos, or other activities.
Badges
Badges track your contributions over time. Many have several tiers that you can reach as you continue contributing to Camperwolf.
Each badge tells you what counts towards it and what you need to reach the next tier.
Achievements
Achievements are special accomplishments that you can unlock through particular activities.
Each achievement tells you what you need to do. Some achievements also award XP.
There are also a few hidden achievements. Naturally, we are not going to tell you how to unlock those. :)
Special awards
Some awards cannot be unlocked through regular activity. They may be given for special activities, events, or contributions to the community.
Use a badge as your profile title
At the bottom of your user profile, you can choose one of your unlocked badges or awards as your profile title. Your selected title will then be shown on your profile.
Camperwolf also notifies you when you unlock an achievement, reach a new badge tier, or receive a special award. Changes to XP alone do not create a separate notification. See notifications for more details.
You can learn more about levels and experience points under Levels and XP.
